BHL : L’état d’Israël pour tout Juif et pour tout Démocrate c’est quelque chose de très important… il y a un cas de Démocratie qui tient débout, qui n’a pas sombré, malgré un état de guerre larvée qui dure depuis plus de 60 ans et cet état démocratique c’est Israël.

JOURNALISTE : Avec une armée qui fait ce qu’elle a fait à Gaza? Comme dit les Nations Unis, allez.. ça c’est pour vous provoquer.

BHL : Avec une armée qui comme toutes les armées du monde évidemment commet des erreurs, mais dont j’écris et dont je démontre qu’elle demeure néanmoins la seule armée démocratique que je connaisse, où du haute en bas de la hiérarchie on se pose du matin au soir des questions morales

JOURNALISTE : Ca c’est une plaisanterie…

BHL : C’est extrêmement sérieux.. Il ya deux reportages pendant la guerre de Gaza et pendant la guerre du Liban, où j’interroge des soldats des unités spéciales israéliennes et je démontre et je le décris en effet essayant par tout le moyen dans cette situation d’horreur que sont les guerres d’épargner au maximum les populations civiles.
